The difference between PCB and PCBA

Some people who are new to the electronics manufacturing industry may not be very clear about PCB and PCBA. In order to let everyone quickly identify them and reduce unnecessary troubles, SDY Electronic will introduce the difference between PCB and PCBA.

1. PCB

PCB, also called printed circuit boards, it is an important electronic component used to support electronic components and realize the connection of electronic components.

2. PCBA

PCBA is the abbreviation of Printed Cirruit Board Assembly in English, but in foreign countries, PCBA is generally translated into PCB Assembly. The PCB bare board is processed by SMT patch, DIP plug-in and test to form a finished product, referred to as PCBA.

3. The difference between PCB and PCBA

PCB is an bare board, there is nothing on the surface of the board; PCBA is processed on an empty PCB, and components such as resistors, capacitors, chips, etc. are installed to form a board with certain functions, and the core parts of all electronic products are made up of PCBA.
